Sundays With Susan

A Sunday well spent, brings a week of content!

Every week we gather as a Nurtured Inspirations Collective to engage in dialogue with other people who share our passion for learning and education. We gather to nurture within ourselves, our children, our families, and our community, the spirit of humanity to bring us together in relationship with the Other, materials, spaces, and places.

We schedule our gatherings in various ways including series sessions, single encounters, interviews, open dialogue, and Q&A formats. Don’t be surprised if we change it up from time to time. We’re responsive in our way of being and we want to bring to our Collective the things that matter most. We love to spark wonder, questions, reflection, and inspiration. We believe in creating a community where we honour, respect, and nourish the spirit of ourselves and those around us.

Please be sure to follow us on all of our social channels for updates on Sundays with Susan! We’ll see you there!

Here’s what’s inside:

  1. Discover the latest brain research that supports how the mind-body connection is vital to children’s development.
  2. Learn practical ways to empower children through active learning, not only because it is developmentally appropriate but because doing so promotes a calmer, friendlier, and less challenging learning environment.
  3. Gain valuable insights as Rae Pica offers suggestions on how to update your own learning environment to support children’s health and well-being through active play and movement.

Nurtured Inspirations Presents Roberta Pucci

‘The Language of Matter: How materials can help us create significant and authentic relationships’

Save the date: Sunday, March 1st from 10:00am – 11:30am EST

Join us for another Sundays with Susan and discover how you can nurture children’s development of creativity and the creative use of artistic, natural or recycled materials as you learn alongside Atelierista, Roberta Pucci.

For seven years, Roberta Pucci has shared her brilliance with others in her work at The Loris Malaguzzi Center in
Reggio Emilia, Italy.
We will explore perspectives of design as we consider the use of different kinds of creative tools and materials that we offer to children in early years.
